TIS held a training on first aid and emergency rescue

Recently, TIS employees attended a training course on pre-hospital care and emergency rescue. It was conducted by the best tactical medicine and first aid instructors from FAST.

Our colleagues learned how to assess the condition of the victim, help a person who was unconscious, conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use a defibrillator, mastered the theory and practice of stopping massive bleeding, etc. “It was so realistic and practical that at certain moments it was even a little uncomfortable. However, in the context of constant shelling of Odesa region and port infrastructure, applied first aid skills are necessary for everyone, because in a critical situation it can help save someone’s life,” the training participants share their impressions.

Unfortunately, the port infrastructure is a target for regular enemy shelling, so the company, in addition to complying with mandatory security protocols, will additionally undergo training in premedical care and emergency rescue. The safety and health of our team is an absolute priority for TIS, so FAST first aid training will be held regularly. It is open to any port employee.
