about TIS

TIS is the No. 1 port in Ukraine and No. 2 on the Black Sea in terms of cargo transshipment.

It was launched in 1994 on the basis of a Soviet-era abandoned berth for the import of mineral fertilizers. TIS is a strategic enterprise for ensuring Ukrainian exports and Ukraine’s economic security, which also works within the framework of the UN Food Program.

A significant investor in Ukraine’s infrastructure, with over 30 years of operation, its own investments in the development of the port and the industry in general exceeding $1 billion. A key taxpayer in the region and one of the largest employers in the industry and Odesa region. Over the course of its operation, TIS has paid more than $360 million in taxes and fees to the state. It creates jobs and provides salaries for about 5,000 people.
