Training of volunteer rescuers in Odesa

Six months of the great war have radically reshaped the priorities of almost every Ukrainian. For 191 days in a row, like the rest of Ukraine, we at TIS have been focusing on helping to bring victory closer and holding the economic front. We also continue to cooperate with volunteer foundations and volunteer ourselves.

Recently, TIS Civil Protection specialists joined a large-scale training of volunteer rescuers who joined the voluntary civil protection unit of the Odesa City Council.

More than 50 Odesa residents of various civilian professions were trained in the destroyed workshops of one of the enterprises to eliminate the consequences of the explosion and rescue the victims. Together with rescuers and colleagues from other services, our specialists held a master class on evacuating victims from the upper floors of high-rise buildings, thus teaching practical skills that will help to navigate in an emergency and save someone’s life.

More information about the training of volunteer rescuers is in the photo report of Dumskaya.net
